Seedgro’s innovative solution utilises IoT, cloud, SMS, voice-over, and USSD technologies to gather data from soil sensors planted in the fields. This data is processed in the cloud and accessible to farmers, helping them make informed agricultural decisions.
The business makes revenue direct sales from soil sensors, certified seeds, and through commissions paid by farmers linked to market opportunities.

Through a partnership with International Centre for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT), Seedgro multiplies and sells climate-resilient and adaptable certified legume seeds to farmers, which leads to high-quality yields.
Assista Limited helps Seedgro with expertise in sensors and recommends suitable drones with a high potential to maximise the spatial geo-location abilities in remote sensing for greenhouse gases. They also provide them with training in building sensors from locally available materials.
