about the Symposium

The SEED South Africa Symposium is an annual international forum for sharing knowledge and experience, establishing partnerships, and developing solutions to stimulate the growth of eco-inclusive entrepreneurship in South Africa.

The 2017 topic will be Innovative Enterprise Solutions for an Eco-Inclusive and Climate Resilient Society in South Africa to discuss how we can collaboratively promote implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals and South Africa National Development Plan 2030.

How to get to the Symposium

Travelling from Pretoria                                

  • Continue with Frances Baard (Old Schoeman Street) which becomes the N4 Emalahleni (Old Witbank) highway
  • Take the Solomon Mahlangu (Hans Strydom) turn off (4th off ramp)
  • At the traffic circle turn right following the Garsfontein sign
  • Pass Makro and Metro on your left hand side
  • Cross Lynnwood road at the traffic lights
  • At the first set of traffic lights turn left into Disselboom Street
  • Immediate right again at the circle into Diep in die Berg Road – sign reading, ‘Diep in Die Berg’ – follow path leading up the hill for 800m

Route from Johannesburg                     

  • Continue on the N1 (North) through Midrand then follow the N1 Polokwane (Pietersburg) highway travelling towards Polokwane
  • Take the Lynnwood Road off ramp
  • At the traffic lights turn right into Lynnwood Road
  • Travel along Lynnwood until you get to Solomon Mahlangu (Hans Strydom)
  • At the traffic lights turn right into Solomon Mahlangu (Hans Strydom)
  • At the first set of traffic lights turn left into Disselboom Street
  • Immediate right again at the circle into Diep in die Berg Road – sign reading, ‘Diep in Die Berg’ – follow path leading up the hill for 800m

Travelling from O.R Tambo International Airport

  • Continue on the R21 (North) – traveling towards Pretoria
  • Take the Solomon Mahlangu (Old Hans Strydom) / Lyttelton off ramp
  • At the traffic lights turn right into Solomon Mahlangu (Old Hans Strydom)
  • Travel along Solomon Mahlangu (Old Hans Strydom) past Garsfontein towards Faerie Glen (+ 14 km)
  • At the set of traffic lights turn right into Disselboom street from Solomon Mahlangu (Old Hans Strydom)
  • Immediate right again at the circle into Diep in die Berg Road – sign reading, ‘Diep in Die Berg’ – follow path leading up the hill for 800m
