Innovative mobile biogas technology for rural communities in Uganda

RESI is committed to the promotion of climate change adaptation and mitigation strategies by fostering the adoption of clean renewable energy technologies in rural underserved communities in Uganda.

The enterprise offers innovative mobile biogas technology consisting of a pressure booster and a portable biodigester. The team works alongside climate change and environmental protection ambassadors who form community networks to offer training and create awareness on climate change.

Eco-Inclusive Impacts
Promoting gender inclusiveness by offering equal opportunity to participate in leadership positions and decision making. Reducing carbon footprint by converting waste into valuable clean energy whilst incorporating local community members in their value chain.

This enterprise is supported through its partnerships with various stakeholders, ranging from national and international organisations, investors, research institutes, suppliers, governmental bodies, NGOs, other social and environmental enterprises and more.

SPR Ecofuel provides the biogas technology and the necessary technical capacity for RESI to offer efficient biogas energy systems suitable for rural communities.
