We benefitted greatly from SEED Starter, in particular, because we were encouraged by SEED to carry out a market survey. We compared the assumptions underlying our product with market realities and leveraged the feedback to modify, redesign, and improve the product. The outcome was an innovative product design and a market-driven approach.
SEED Starter has helped transform our whole value chain from manufacturing to distribution. We now have greater customer insights, offer competitive services, and, most importantly, have higher customer satisfaction.
Rokim seeks alignment with SEED so as to realize the quest for co-building thriving global markets for clean and efficient household cooking solutions, and also to leverage profits for further investment into clean energy.
Rokim Group limited (RGL) focuses on promoting eco-friendly and renewable energy technologies through the use of its innovative multi-fuel energy saving stove; the so-called Ecomoto stove.
The enterprise is committed to the dissemination of high-quality energy-saving cookstoves to households across Kenya as an environmentally promising solution to local problems modelled on manufacturing, research and development. The Ecomoto stove runs on a clean and smokeless concept that makes it a viable substitute to burning biomass fuels such as wood, crop waste and dung, which tend to cause significant indoor air pollution.
