Tii Ki Komi Cassava Commercial Growers (TCCG)

Tii Ki Komi Cassava Commercial Growers produces cassava and processes it into chips, flour and peels of high quality. While improving the socio-economic conditions of the population, the enterprise contributes to sustainable agriculture.

Tii Ki Komi Cassava Commercial Growers (TCCG) sources fresh cassava from local farmers and processes them into chips, flour and peels of highly competitive price and quality. The company provides training on agronomic practices to enhance cassava post-harvest handling and production of organic manure.

Products are currently sold for household consumption and to breweries, and the innovative production and sale of cassava peels as animal feed has developed new market opportunities. The enterprise plans to expand in scale and to enter local and foreign markets.

  • Expand cassava production to 25,000 acres by 2019, where each of the targeted farmers grows at least 5 acres of cassava, resulting in 425,000 tons of fresh cassava per year.
  • Purchase a kiln for fuel production and a cassava grater, a sieve and moisturiser for production of high-quality cassava flour.
  • Increase cassava peel production to 12 tons and the amount of cassava leaves and stems to feed animals to 10 tons by 2019.
  • Develop and produce fuel briquettes from cassava peels for cooking by 2019.
