Case Study: Eco Post
Preventing Deforestation, Combatting Pollution and Creating Youth Employment by Transforming Waste into Plastic Posts
EcoPost produces posts and building materials from recycled plastic waste in Nairobi. This reduces pollution, preserves forests, and decreases greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. By working at the grassroots, EcoPost has provided income opportunities to over 2,000 marginalised people while raising awareness about sustainable production and consumption in the community.
